Management of pregnancy complicated by

Primary examination by members of the research department, ultrasound examination of the fetus (genetic screening, fetometry, Doppler velocimetry).
Admission to hospital for a comprehensive clinical and laboratory examination:
complete blood cell count, simple urine test, biochemical blood test, coagulogram, Antithrombin III (ATIII), indirect Coombs test for Rh factor (Rh antibody titer), examination of the acid-base balance in blood; microscopic and microbiological study of nasal discharge, microscopic and microbiological study of urethral and vaginal discharge; TORCH test (tests for IgM and IgG antibodies to four organisms that cause congenital infections transmitted from mother to fetus: Toxoplasma gondii, rubella, cytomegalovirus, and herpes simplex virus); tests for IgM and IgG antibodies to Chlamydia trachomatis; tests for antigens to Chlamydia trachomatis, Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis using direct immunofluorescence test (DIF).

Natural delivery

 

Individual prenatal care, including of women with cardiovascular, endocrinal and urogenital diseases, anemia and other blood diseases complicating delivery and postnatal period.
Maternity patients are provided with:
examination by an obstetrician-gynecologist who will determine the estimated time and method of delivery;
the entire range of highly informative tests to make a comprehensive evaluation of the condition of a mother and a fetus;
correction of identified defects;
cardiac monitoring of a fetus for at least 20 minutes every three hours and continuous cardiotocography (CTG) monitoring if needed;
full anesthesia support (pain management) of delivery (spinal and epidural anesthesia provided there are no contraindications), review and closure of parturient canals.

Birth Partner program
The program allows having a more satisfying birth experience. The partner can be a womans husband, mother, sister, friend or any other familiar face. To attend the labor, a partner will need to present:
a certificate of completing birthing classes;
a fluorography picture;
a GPs note confirming the absence of infectious diseases.

Cesarean section

     Maternity patients are provided with:
examination by an obstetrician-gynecologist who will determine the estimated time and method of delivery;
laboratory tests (complete blood cell count, simple urine test, microscopic and microbiological study of urethral and vaginal discharge, biochemical blood test, coagulogram, examination by an anesthesiologist and preparation for the surgery);
full anesthesia support (pain management) of the surgery: general anesthesia (spinal and epidural anesthesia provided there are no contraindications);
medication support of the surgery:
the duration of stay in the anesthesiology and intensive care department makes 1-2 days; a patient is provided with all necessary medicines;
In the postnatal period:
observation of a patient and prevention of afterbirth complications;
ultrasound examination of uterus and uterine appendages;
dynamic observation, examination of a neonate (complete blood cell count, determination of a blood type and rhesus using the ABO blood group system, concentration of direct and total bilirubin, ECG, brain and heart ultrasound, consultations by a cardiologist, neurologist, ophthalmologist, and orthopedist, correction of identified defects and vaccination against viral hepatitis B and tuberculosis);

Primary examination by a urologist, a male fertility specialist (mandatory for men).
Laboratory tests and instrumental examination: hormones on the 2-5th day of the menstrual cycle, tests for sexually transmitted diseases (at least two diagnostic tests) and types of agents causing urogenital infections with the help of PCR and immunofluorescence tests; tests for chronic infections (herpes, cytomegalovirus, rubella, toxoplasmosis using enzyme immunoassay (EIA)), cervical cytology, colposcopy, semen analysis, blood type, Rh factor.
The results of the tests are ready in about ten days. They are interpreted at a second consultation with a fertility specialist and an andrologist.
In vitro fertilization is performed to an individual medication protocol for about 2-3 weeks.
After an embryo transfer, a patient is placed in an enhanced-comfort room of the gynecology department and stays there 7-14 days on request or in case of complications.
